1,2,4,5-Tetra((4-aminophenyl)ethynyl)benzene was prepared by reacting 4-ethynylaniline with 1,2,4,5-tetrabromobenzene via Sonogashira cross coupling reaction in the presence of Pd(PPh₃)₄ and copper iodide as catalysts.
